On Monday, April 10, 2006, ALBERT WOODROW MILLER; beloved husband of Charlotte Baker (nee Kluth); loving father of Douglass W. Miller and his wife Anita and Susan C. Kaufman and her husband Gregory; loving grandfather of Tracey L. Miller; dear brother of Richard, Wagner and Gary Miller, Ruthanna Vleck and Betty Cushon, all of the New Windsor/Westminster area. Mr. Miller was predeceased by brothers, Gene and Paul Miller and sister Doris Heagy. Born on May 15, 1919, he was the son of the late James Albert Miller and Fannie Wagner Miller. Mr. Miller served in the Navy during WWII in the 143rd Naval Construction Battalion on Calicoan Island in the Phillipines. After his return, Mr. Miller worked for Koppers, Inc. of Baltimore and then ran his own re-decorating business until retirement at age 65. Mr. & Mrs. Miller formerly lived in Arbutus for 55 years and currently live in Easton, MD. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing and trips with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 in the Vermillion Chapel on April 22, 2006 at 11 A.M. Inurnment Meadowridge Memorial Park Inc. In lieu of flowers, family wishes memorial contributions to be made in Albert Miller's name to the Talbot Hospice House, 586 Cywood Drive, Easton, MD 21601, Attn: Donna Stone.
