ERROL EUGENE BROWN, JR., was suddenly called from earth to glory on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Howard County Hospital, Columbia, Maryland at the young age of 44. He was born to Errol Eugene Brown, Sr. and Mary "Betty" Brown on January 3, 1962. Errol graduated in 1980 from Annapolis Senior High School. From September 1983 through June 1985 he attended Anne Arundel Community College, Arnold, Maryland, where he majored in Computer Operations and received a certificate of completion. Errol's work experience began at a very early stage. At age 13, Errol worked at Bay Ridge Beach; he worked in his father's business at Gemini Delivery, Inc. located in Columbia, Maryland as Assistant Manager, later in years he was employed by Skippers Oil Company; Luskins Warehouse as a Receiving Supervisor; his most recent employment was with Genco Distribution as a Lead Yard Jockey (for 11 years or more); additionally, he worked part time as a truck driver for Safeway and Giant. Truck driving was something he loved to do. He received his Class A USDOT qualified drivers license. Errol was a survivor of a near fatal car accident as well as two kidney transplants. With all the grief that he went through, Errol never complained, that's when he decided to join Greater Mt. Nebo and give his life to Christ. Errol's favorite hobbies were: basketball, baseball, bowling, computer and most of all listening to his music. Errol was a caring and loving son, father and grandfather. He was blessed with four beautiful children and two grandchildren. Preceding his death were his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Hattie Williams. However, Errol leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Deonte' E. Brown, Shakeeta Brown, Deondrea Brown and Denee Brown; three stepchildren, Eric James, Erica James and Shakia Butler; his father and mother, Errol and Mary Brown; two brothers, Fredrick Brown and Errol Lorenzo Brown, one sister-in-law, Irma Brown; his paternal grandparents, Philip and Rachel Brown; two grandchildren - Deonte' E. Brown, Jr. and Axavier Jamal Spencer; five Aunts, Irma Howard, Burnell Williams, Marvis Williams, Elaine Williams and Catrina Howard; one Uncle, Philip L. Brown, Jr. and a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends, Kenneth Williamson, Dave and Mike Coleman, Towanda White, Jody Wade and Carla Boston. Public Viewing, Monday 4 to 7 P.M. at Reese & Sons Mortuary, 821 West St., Annapolis, MD. Christian Wake Tuesday 9 to 11 A.M., Funeral 11 A.M. at Greater Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church, 1001 Ole Mitchellville Rd., Bowie, MD. Interment Hill Crest Cemetery, Annapolis, MD.
