Eclectic set

The lowdown -- KJ Denhert's music is an eclectic blend of jazz, R&B and folk, and she has opened for Roberta Flack and Loudon Wainwright. She also headlined a six-night stint at the Blue Note in Las Vegas. Denhert will play at Frederick's Westside Cafe on Saturday.

Name That Film!

The lowdown -- Baltimore's Video Americain and Atomic Books will compete against each other in a battle of "Name That Film!" at Ottobar on Monday. Contestants will identify the movies based on reenactments of scenes, clips and more.

Beyond `Red Red Wine'

The lowdown -- While they are probably best known for their cover of Neil Diamond's "Red Red Wine," UB40 are actually an influential reggae band and have been performing together for more than three decades. The band's in D.C. on Saturday at the 9:30 Club.
