2004 Kris Pinot Grigio delle Venezie ($11)

WINE FIND

April 12, 2006|By MICHAEL DRESSER

Italian pinot grigio is often so thin and neutral you might as well be drinking water. This one is a delightful exception at an affordable price. It shows a creamy texture, ample body and a lively mix of lemon, apple, pear, herb and mineral flavors. Its complexity is impressive for this price. Serve with fish, especially with a light cream sauce, or ham.
