Batting average for Edmondson senior third baseman Maurice Fisher during a three-game stretch last week. Fisher was 9-for-11 with three triples, two doubles, a home run, eight RBIs, three stolen bases and two walks, as his squad went 1-0-2, beating City and tying Poly and Patterson.

One-run games in Thursday's softball doubleheader between Digital Harbor and Western. Digital Harbor won the first game, 10-9, before Western came back to take the nightcap, 6-5.

Girls lacrosse games decided by one goal in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference through Sunday.

Points racked up by Poly midfielder Kiara James as the Engineers girls lacrosse team opened the season 5-0. The sophomore has 23 goals and eight assists.
