REDS -- Announced that C Dane Sardinha cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Louisville.

ROCKIES -- Announced that P Jaime Cerda and P Mike Esposito cleared waivers and have accepted assignment to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

NBA -- Fined Nuggets F Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic) $15,000 for punching basketball into stands during loss to Clippers on Tuesday.

DUKE -- Announced resignation of men's lacrosse coach Mike Pressler and cancellation of rest of season. Announced that basketball C Eric Boateng has decided to leave school after one season and plans to transfer after the spring semester.

GOUCHER -- CAC named Katie Deming (Severn) women's lacrosse Player of the Week.

KANSAS STATE -- Named Frank Martin and Dalonte Hill men's basketball assistant coaches.

KENTUCKY -- Announced that freshman basketball G Adam Williams will transfer.
