GIRLS

STATS -- As a junior last season, Adam was the Admirals' Most Valuable Player. She also was named to the All-County team and was a second-team All-Metro pick and a first-team All-America midfielder after scoring 25 goals and adding 25 assists. Adam has received a lacrosse scholarship to Vanderbilt.

SIDELINES -- A three-sport standout like her older sister, Jessica, who is a sophomore lacrosse player at Duke, Adam has "a propensity for diligent work both in and out of class," Severn lacrosse coach Renie Sotiropoulos said. Adam played field hockey, basketball and lacrosse all four years at Severn while maintaining a 3.54 grade point average and serving as a school prefect. She spends leisure time boating and swimming.
