The Columbia Bank announced that Bill Gellatly joined the Howard County

bank as a vice president and manager of mortgage banking.

Education

College of Notre Dame of Maryland named Patricia M. Dwyer as associate vice president of academic affairs for the North Baltimore Catholic institution.

FOR THE RECORD - Brightview Senior Living appointed Ross Dingman as regional vice president and Nancy Abramson as marketing and sales associate. An item in Wednesday's Working section misspelled Dingman's name and gave an incorrect title for Abramson. The Sun regrets the error.

Health care

Brightview Senior Living appointed Brian Engle as vice president of operations, Ross Dingmanto as regional vice president, Leslie Robinson as a regional manager, and Nancy Abramson as marketing and sales assistant. The company has facilities in suburban Baltimore and Westminster.

Hospitality/tourism

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore named Rick Gerhardt as membership director.

Promontory Financial Group of Washington named Brian C. Roseboro as managing director and Thomas D. Wren as a director of the international financial and regulatory consulting firm.

Nixon Peabody has admitted Vernon Johnson III to the law firm's Washington office as a litigator.

Professional services

PHH Arval, headquartered in Sparks, appointed Gary M. Anderson as senior vice president of sales. A 20-year veteran of the company, he has responsibility for sales strategies and initiatives for the firm's U.S. operations.

Hord Coplan Macht announced that Miguel Iraola joined the Baltimore architecture, landscape, planning and design firm as director of planning.

Geo-Technology Associates Inc. named Jeremy D. Cooper as an associate of the engineering firm. He is assigned to the Harford County firm's Frederick office as an engineering consultant to builders and developers.

SMART, the accounting and consulting services firm, announced that James Hayden will transfer to the firm's Baltimore office as a partner in accounting and assurance services. He was formerly at the firm's office in Devon, Pa.

getintegrated named Michael Irvine as chief operating officer. He is responsible for the daily operation of the company, as well as providing strategic guidance for design and operation improvement of the firm's ser- vices.

Swales Aerospace announced that John W. Tooley was appointed chief financial officer and vice president of business operations for the Beltsville-based defense and commercial aviation and space engineering company.

Nonprofits

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore appointed Phil Miller as its vice president. He is responsible for service and facilities management at the Weinberg Park Heights Jewish Community Center.

On the board

Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore announced the election of G. Louise Green, of the Baltimore city's finance department, and John T. Walker III, of Baltimore city schools, to its board of directors.

Real estate

Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, of Columbia, appointed Antony M. Gross as vice president in charge of its Baltimore commercial division branch office in the Inner Harbor.
