From Kanye West to Cypress Hill to Joan Jett, the 17th annual HFStival promises to crackle with energy from some of the biggest names in pop over three-plus decades. Nearly 60 artists - some established, some burgeoning - will perform at Merriweather Post Pavilion, a new home for the all-day music event, which takes place May 27-28.
The headlining acts on Saturday include multi-Grammy winner West and Jewish rap-reggae sensation Matisyahu, rap-rock collective Cypress Hill and the Las Vegas pop-punk band Panic! at the Disco. The next day, the main stage will feature '90s alternative pop-rock band Counting Crows, famed New York garage rock revivalists the Strokes, alternative rock outfit Dashboard Confessional, the '80s new wave band the Fixx as well as Jett.
