Shannon Witzel scored five goals and Mandy Corry had 17 saves as visiting Towson upset 14th-ranked William and Mary, 13-11, yesterday in women's lacrosse.
The Tigers (5-5, 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association) ended a two-game losing streak and broke a two-game winning streak for the Tribe (6-4, 1-1).
Emily Vitrano (Maryvale) and Morgan Lang led William and Mary with three goals each.
No. 3 Johns Hopkins 11, No. 17 Vanderbilt 8 -- Steph Janice scored a career-high four goals to lead the host Blue Jays (8-0, 3-0 American Lacrosse Conference) past the Commodores (4-6, 0-2).
No. 16 Penn State 16, Loyola 10 -- The visiting Nittany Lions (5-5) outscored the Greyhounds (4-6) 7-3 in the second half for the win.
Mount St. Mary's 19, Central Connecticut State 10 -- Casey Paris scored a career-high nine points to power the host Mount (4-7, 2-1 Northeast Conference) past the Blue Devils (1-6, 1-2).
North Carolina Wesleyan 12, Hood 10 -- The visiting Bishops (3-11) - led by Buffy Casto and Allie Stylc with five goals each - scored three goals in overtime to beat the Blazers (3-3).

Goucher 13, Catholic 8 -- Brent Shea (Fallston) scored four goals as the host Gophers (4-8, 3-2 Capital Athletic Conference) beat the Cardinals (6-6, 1-4).
