Woman accused of killing husband

A Randallstown woman fatally shot her husband yesterday afternoon, Baltimore County police officials said. A 35-year-old woman called police about 4:30 p.m. and said she had shot her 44-year-old husband, county police said. When police arrived at the home in the 8700 block of Gilly Way, they found the man dead on the first floor, officials said. The woman told police that her husband had threatened her with a weapon. Police had not released the identities of the husband and wife last night.

Firefighters find burned body

The body of a severely burned man was found at a makeshift residence near a Catonsville bowling alley, Baltimore County fire officials said yesterday. The Fire Department responded to a call in the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike about 3:30 p.m. for what appeared to be a shed fire behind AMF Westview Lanes Bowling Alley, officials said. As firefighters extinguished the blaze, they discovered the body, officials said. The structure appeared to be where the homeless sought shelter, fire officials said.
