Police say teen tried to rob, shoot 26-year-old man in Windsor Mill area

Baltimore County police are seeking 16-year-old Tanya R. Harris, of the 5900 block of Hilltop Ave. in Gwynn Oak, for the attempted murder and attempted robbery of a 26-year old man.

Harris is considered armed and dangerous and is being charged as an adult, police said.

Police say the incident took place in the area of East Bend Court in Windsor Mill. According to authorities, the victim, Lensey Hamilton, was in his car when Harris attempted to rob him and shoot him.

Harris is described as a black female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She goes by the nickname "Reds" and has a tattoo of a "T" on her lower back and a tattoo of an Asian symbol on her neck, police said.

Harris is a frequent runaway from her home address and stays in both the city and Baltimore County, police said.

Anyone with information about Harris is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587). Those calling Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
