`Kaleidoscope' concert tomorrow

The UU Chalice series, a program of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia, will present the third concert in its season, "A Lyrical Kaleidoscope," a program of works for voice selected from operas, art songs and musical theater with soprano Maryann Evangelista, at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Owen Brown Interfaith Center, 7246 Cradlerock Way, Columbia. A lecture on the composers and their work is to begin at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $15 in advance; $10 for students. There is a $3 surcharge for tickets purchased at the door. Children to age 12 are admitted free with a paying adult. Patron tickets are $25.

Grace Episcopal holding yard sale

Grace Episcopal Church will hold the second "Simple Living" indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at its parish hall, 6725 Montgomery Road, Elkridge.

Proceeds will be donated to the Katrina Relief Fund. Donations of usable items can be dropped off at the parish hall until 8 p.m. today.

Rabbi to lead a model Seder

Rabbi Hillel Baron of the Lubavitch Center for Jewish Education will lead a model Passover Seder at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Room ILB-100 at Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia.

He will explain the ceremony, teach some of its traditional songs and answer questions during the meal. Admission is free, but reservations are required.

Bet Yeladim offering camp for kids, 3 to 5

Bet Yeladim Preschool and Kindergarten will offer summer camp for children ages 3 to 5. Children can participate in a number of activities. Applications are available at 8070 Harriet Tubman Lane, Columbia, and at the Meeting House, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, in Oakland Mills.

Program for parents and preschoolers

"Child and Me," a program for preschoolers and parents, is being offered in Howard County through a collaboration by the Parent Resource Place of Jewish Family Services and Bet Yeladim, Gan Israel and Temple Isaiah preschools.
