Georgetown routs Mount

Fifth-ranked Georgetown scored 12 goals in the first half yesterday en route to its sixth consecutive win, a 17-7 victory over visiting Mount St. Mary's.

The Hoyas (6-1) were led by Andrew Baird and Trevor Casey with three goals each.

Matt Warner scored three goals for the Mountaineers (2-6).

Salisbury 18, York 5 -- Eric Bishop's six goals and three assists led the top-ranked Sea Gulls (10-0, 5-0) over the Spartans (6-3, 3-1) in a Capital Athletic Conference game.


Salisbury 19, Randolph-Macon 5 -- The host Sea Gulls (9-0) used 13 first-half goals to beat the Yellow Jackets (5-4). Sue Ackerman (four), Stephanie Shores (three) and Erin McCarthy (three) combined to score 10 goals for top-ranked Salisbury.

Goucher 21, Washington College 15 -- Kate Knitter and Whitney Groseclose each had second-half hat tricks to spur the visiting Gophers (5-3) over the Shorewomen (5-6). Laura Wibbert made 15 saves for Goucher.

Richmond 17, UC-Davis 6 -- Freshman Mandy Friend scored a career-high five goals and added three assists to lead the Spiders (8-2) over the visiting Aggies (5-4).
