FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Orioles rallied for two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 3-2, yesterday before 5,142 in the home exhibition finale at Fort Lauderdale Stadium.
Center fielder Luis Matos tied the game with an RBI single after Brian Roberts led off the eighth with a triple. Matos then came around to score on two straight errors by Cardinals second baseman Junior Spivey.
