On Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 7:11 A.M., ANNE W. ALMOND, 88, of Baltimore, Maryland, died of Congestive Heart failure at her home, in the Blakehurst Retirement Community. Born on Monday, September 3, 1917, at 6 P.M. in Baltimore, MD. She was the third of four daughters, of the late Charles Edward Wollman and Esther Louise Kratz. Her eldest sister, Muriel Wollman Reed Walts, died in late 2005. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Wollman Sheats, of Baltimore and Virginia Wollman Deaver, of Aptos, CA, and two sons, John Grayson Mc Cormick and his wife, Wynne, of Stevenson, MD, and Robert Neville Mc Cormick and his wife Barbara, of Lyle, WA, by seven grandchildren and by eight great-grandchildren. Four of her five step-children also survive her, as well as thirteen step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Perry Mc Cormick, Past President and Chairman of Mc Cormick and Co. Inc. who died in 1970, and by Saunders M. Almond, Jr., Esq., who died in 1994. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
