Rashawna Wynn, Southwestern

STATS -- A solid-hitting shortstop for the Sabers, Wynn was one of the best-kept secrets in city girls basketball this winter. Averaging 22.5 points per game, the senior shooting guard scored a season-high 34 points. A former Amateur Athletic Union player, Wynn started playing basketball when she was 4 and plans to play in an Eastern tournament at the James McHenry Rec Center.

SIDELINES -- Wynn transferred from Western last fall and never missed a beat academically. She's an A-student. Planning to study criminal justice in college next year, perhaps at Bowie, she would like to become a lawyer. While sports take up most of her time, Wynn has participated in a holiday play at Southwestern.
