Bel Air resident named principal at consulting, accounting firm

Bel Air resident Richard Daeschner recently was named a principal at Rosen Sapperstein & Friedlander, Chartered, a regional business consulting and accounting firm based in Owings Mills.

Daeschner, a native of the Baltimore area who has been with the firm for more than 18 years, concentrates on retail, manufacturing, construction and nonprofit industries.

Daeschner will continue to direct the firm's operations, reviewing more than 90 percent of all jobs in the company, including those in the categories of compilations, reviews, audits and related tax returns.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Daeschner earned a degree in accounting in 1981. He has been a certified public accountant since 1987.

Daeschner is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
