Luis Matos hit a two-run homer off Boston Red Sox reliever Barry Hertzler with two outs in the ninth inning to break a scoreless tie and give the Orioles a 2-0 victory yesterday. Matos went to the opposite field with an 0-1 pitch.

"This isn't my first time in that situation," he said.
