Matchup -- California Cougars (8-18) @ Blast (15-10)

Time -- 7:35

Radio -- 680 AM

Outlook -- This will be Danny Kelly's first game as the Blast's player/coach after coach Tim Wittman was suspended earlier this week following an incident with a referee and penalty box attendant at Saturday's game at California. The Blast is back home after losing all three games on its road trip. Though the third-place Blast has clinched a playoff spot, it likely needs to win all five remaining games to have a real shot at passing Milwaukee (17-8) for second place. Giuliano Celenza had three goals and an assist in the 8-6 loss at California, and Adauto Neto scored twice, but the Blast needs more offensive help. It must also find a way to stop Vicente Figueroa, who scored four goals for California Saturday. The Cougars have won four straight and seven of their last nine after a 1-16 start.
