Saints' Brady has no-hitter

Right-hander Jay Greene (1-0) allowed three hits and two runs as host Linganore upset second-ranked Mount St. Joseph, 6-2, yesterday.

Greene gave up one hit to the Gaels (0-1) in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings. He pitched seven innings, walked five and struck out five.

The Lancers (1-1) took a 1-0 lead after the second before scoring four runs in the fifth. Carl Huber and Chad Stevens both homered for Linganore.

St. Mary's 3, Annapolis 0 -- Right-hander Chris Brady (1-1) pitched his first no-hitter, striking out four and walking two in seven innings as the Saints (2-4) beat the Panthers (0-1). Brenden Kelly went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI to lead St. Mary's.

Harford Tech 13, Harford Christian 0 -- Josh Williams and Bryan Legarda combined efforts to throw a five-inning no-hitter against the visiting Eagles (0-1). The two combined for seven strikeouts for the Cobras (1-1).
