Unity by the Bay will show film `One'

Unity by the Bay will offer a viewing of the movie One at 7 p.m. tomorrow in Suite 18 at 836 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.

Fish fry and raffle at St. Athanasius

The events committee of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church will sponsor a fish fry and raffle from 1 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. March 31 at the rectory, 4708 Prudence St., Brooklyn.

The cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12, and free for children age 6 and younger. The cost for carryout is $12. Please call to purchase tickets in advance.

Free choir concert at Woods Memorial

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present a concert at 8 p.m. March 31 at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, themed "Make His Praise Glorious."

The concert will feature the Woods adult choir, along with the Calvin choir, conducted by Raymond Weidner.

The concert is free, and childcare will be provided.

Church will host `Honeymooners'

Unity by the Bay Church will host a presentation of The Honeymooners live on stage by the Pasadena Theatre Company at 7 p.m. April 2 in Suite 18., 836 Ritchie Hwy., Severna Park.

The cost is $12 in advance and $15 for adults and $10 for children younger than 12 at the door.

All proceeds will go to Unity of the Bay Church.

Galilee to hold midweek service

Galilee Lutheran Church will host a midweek Lenten service at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesdays through April 5 at 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.

There will be a light luncheon served after the morning service and dinner provided at 5:45 p.m. before the evening service.

Lenten exhibit is at Woods Memorial

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present a Lenten exhibit through April 17 in the gallery at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

The exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, by appointment on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Grace Baptist to host series of events

Events planned for Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach, at 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena:

A new member class at 9:30 a.m. running Sunday through April 9 during Sunday school hour in the sanctuary. This four-week class is open to all who are interested in learning about the history of Baptist theology and doctrine.

A spiritual gift workshop at 6 p.m. Sunday. A mini-concert will take place before the workshop. Information: 410-255-5616

Seder to be held at Kol Ami

The National Council of Jewish Women will hold a Women's Seder at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Congregation Kol Ami, 1909 Hidden Meadow Lane, Annapolis.

Rabbi Charni Selch will discuss the Passover story of the exodus from Egypt told through the perspective of the women from the Bible. This will be a celebration of women and their contribution to Jewish history with sampling of a traditional Passover meal and song.

The cost is $18 for adults and $10 for children younger than 13. The maximum cost is $30 per family. Reservations are required.

Taize Lenten service available at church

There will be a Taize Lenten service offered at Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church at 8 p.m. each Wednesday through April 5 at 8424 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton.

St. Stephen's plans Holy Week events

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will host series of programs for Holy Week at 1110 St. Stephen's Church Road, Crownsville.

The events planned are:

Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m. and an agape meal and holy Eucharist at 6 p.m. April 13.

A service from the Book of Common Prayer will be held at noon and a service on Stations of the Cross at 7:30 p.m. April 14.

Church to offer crab cake meals

Brooklyn United Methodist Church will hold a crab cake luncheon and dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 14 at 401 Fourth St., Brooklyn, on Good Friday.
