Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrests -- Two men were arrested Wednesday at their homes by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on warrants charging them with first-degree murder. James Burton, 20, of the 3100 block of Parkington Ave. and Travis Sterling, 19, of the 5400 block of Price Ave. are accused in the shooting of Aaron Godbolt, 23, in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road on Saturday. They were being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Carjacking arrest -- Officer Lane Eskins was on foot in the 5000 block of Reisterstown Road about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when he saw a 1995 Mazda with tags 9BN R26 taken in a carjacking in the 3700 block of Manchester Ave. Eskins called for backup units and arrested the driver. Charges against the driver were pending an investigation.


Arson arrest -- Bookertee Lemon, 46, of the 300 block of Cathedral St., was arrested by a district patrolman Tuesday in the 500 block of W. Baltimore St. on a warrant charging him with setting fire to his apartment Monday.


Arrest -- Tyrell Williams, 23, of the 800 block of N. Glover St. was arrested yesterday in the 900 block of N. Castle St. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. He is accused of shooting a man Jan. 16 in the 800 block of N. Luzerne Ave.


Arrest -- Members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Tasks Force arrested Joshua Young, 19, of the 1500 block of Glenwood Ave. on Wednesday on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. He is accused of shooting a 16-year-old boy March 14 in the 2200 block of Fleetwood Ave.

Shooting -- A man, 43, was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Tuesday night after a man shot him in the face, chest and arms with a shotgun during an argument in the 3400 block of Teresa Court. His condition was not available, and police were seeking a man known to the victim.


Shooting -- Police were seeking a gunman who shot a man, 23, during a robbery attempt in the 3700 block of Edmondson Ave. about 9 a.m. Wednesday. The victim, who was treated at St. Agnes Hospital for gunshot wounds to the left hand and left shoulder, reported that a man ordered him into an alley and asked whether he had marijuana for sale. When he said no, the man pulled a handgun and demanded his money. The victim turned to flee and was shot.


Shooting -- A man, 18, was walking near the 4100 block of Cleve St. about 2 a.m. yesterday when a gunman demanded his property. When the teenager refused, the man ordered him to remove his shoes and clothing. Again, he refused, and the gunman told him to dance. When he refused again, the man shot him in the right foot. A cab driver drove the wounded teen to Harbor Hospital for treatment.
