INSIDE MAN

Rating -- R.

What it's about -- Crooks rob a bank and take hostages, and the cops wait them out.

The Kid Attractor Factor -- A heist picture, with director Spike Lee's humor and Denzel Washington as the star.

Good lessons/bad lessons -- Sometimes, the real villains aren't the ones wearing masks.

Violence -- Beatings, shootings. Not a lot of it, though.

Language -- Spike Lee likes his profanity.

Sex -- Spike Lee likes his women in underwear.

Drugs -- None.

Parents advisory -- Not the harshest R, and certainly not the most violent.

NEIL YOUNG: HEART OF GOLD

Rating -- PG.

What it's about -- A concert film featuring legendary (read: aging) rocker Neil Young.

The Kid Attractor Factor -- Not a lot. But parents might want to drag the kids and teach them a little about good taste in music.

Good lessons/bad lessons -- It's never over until they snap the coffin shut.

Violence -- None.

Language -- Clean.

Sex -- None.

Drugs -- A lyric here and there.

Parents advisory -- One of the gentler concert films. If you have kids who want to see it, let them.
