`Edge of the Water'

Motion, light, color and other qualities that make water so alluring are the focus of a new exhibit at McBride Gallery in Annapolis. Titled Edge of the Water, it features six artists: Paula Waterman, Gerald Hennesy, Arthur Egeli, Bill Schmidt and Stewart and Steven Wegner. The mediums include sculpture and oil paintings and depict animals, landscapes and figures. About 50 new works of art will be on display.

Edge of the Water opens Sunday and runs through April 9. There will be a reception 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. The gallery is at 215 Main St. in Annapolis. Hours are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-5:30 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 410-267-7077 or visit
