Chesapeake
Surprisingly, the Cougars had never won a county title indoors or outdoors. But the drought came to an end this winter when Chesapeake denied Broadneck a fifth straight crown and grabbed the school's first county championship.
The Cougars rode a county record-setting performance in the 55-meter dash by senior Britney Foreman and a team-wide effort that produced at least one point in 10 of 15 events.
