Tiffany Lewis, a 5-foot-9 senior point guard, closed out a fine four-year career with 1,036 points and 693 assists for Southside, which reached the Class 1A state title game. On Friday, she was named the Most Valuable Player in the Baltimore City-County All-Star Game at Woodlawn after leading City to a 72-50 win.

This season, Lewis - a team captain - averaged 13.5 points and seven assists as the No. 8 Jaguars finished with a 22-3record. Lewis, who has a 4.0 grade point average, is still considering several college options with plans of playing basketball.

Lewis, who played Amateur Athletic Union ball for the Maryland Heat, played a big role in leading the Jaguars to three state title games.
