The sophomore proved that last season was no fluke. A year after setting a national freshman record in the 400 meters, Hilaire put her name in the record books at the Bishop Loughlin Games, where she set a sophomore record in the 300 with a winning time of 39.9 seconds. That time ranks tied for 17th in the country, according to dyestat.com.
Hilaire, who also participated in the long jump at the Virginia Tech Invitational, was first in the 300 at the Running Waters Invitational (40.29) and fourth in the 400 at the Metropolitan Athletics Congress Holiday Classic (55.98).

McDonogh
As loaded as the Eagles were, they often reminded themselves of last winter's upset loss to Mount de Sales at the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland championships.
McDonogh, which won three of four IAAM meets and the team crown at the Frostbite Invite, lived up to its billing and claimed the IAAM crown for the second time in three years. The Eagles' 145 points were double the combined total of the second- and third-place teams.
