Robert Anthony Kelly Sr., 79, automobile salesman

Robert Anthony Kelly Sr., a retired automobile salesman, died of undetermined causes March 14 at his Baynesville home. He was 79.

Mr. Kelly was born and raised in Baltimore and graduated from City College. He served with the Navy in the Pacific during World War II.

Mr. Kelly sold cars for 50 years for Chesapeake Cadillac Co. before retiring in 1995.

He enjoyed shopping daily at the Giant near his home, keeping track of neighborhood events and eating at the Double-T Diner on East Joppa Road.

"He also liked taking trips to Pennsylvania and Delaware," said his wife of 57 years, the former Ann Marie Ferencak.

Mr. Kelly was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Baynesville, where a funeral Mass was offered Friday.

Also surviving are a son, Robert A. Kelly Jr. of Parkville; a brother, James Kelly of Parkville; and six grandchildren.
