Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrests -- Members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force entered two homes Saturday morning, one in West Baltimore and the other in Baltimore County, and arrested two men on warrants charging one with attempted murder and robbery, and the other with assault and robbery in the home-invasion robbery and shooting of a man March 11. The 22-year-old victim, a resident of the Lorelly Apartments in the 4800 block of Lorelly Ave., was shot after two men forced their way into his apartment and robbed him. The victim survived. Charged with attempted murder and armed robbery is Keith Oakley, 22, of the 100 block of N. Fremont Ave. Charged with assault is Daniel Garrett, 24, of the 8100 block of Ridgetown Drive in White Marsh.


Victim identified -- Police released yesterday the name of the man who was fatally shot Saturday at Reisterstown Road and Virginia Avenue. Aaron Godbolt, 23, whose address was not given, was standing at the intersection about 3:50 p.m. when an unknown gunman shot him several times. Godbolt was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he died a short time later, said Detective Joseph Jefferson. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.


Shooting/arrest -- Jennifer Stokes, 24, and her fiance were arguing in their home in the 2600 block of Mathews St. about 1:20 a.m. Saturday when the woman was shot in the chest. Stokes was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was expected to survive. Arrested that day and charged with attempted murder was James Best, 30.


Stolen vehicle -- A green 2005 Avanta moped valued at $500 was stolen over the weekend in the 1200 block of Glyndon Ave.


Robbery -- A man, 24, was walking in the 3500 block of E. Lombard St. about 2:15 p.m. Sunday when he was grabbed around the neck by a man who robbed him of $22.

Burglary -- A man entered a house in the first block of S. Linwood Ave. through a rear door about 8 p.m. Sunday while the female occupant was home and stole a purse containing $400, credit cards and other property.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- Police were seeking three males, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a man, 19, of $120 at Gwynn Oak Avenue and Poplar Drive about 7:20 p.m. Sunday.

North Point

Burglary -- Jewelry and coins - all valued at more than $1,700 - were stolen Sunday from an apartment in the 600 block of 48th St.
