J.P. Batista, Gonzaga -- The senior led the third-seeded Bulldogs with 20 points and nine rebounds in a 90-80 win over No. 6 seed Indiana.

Sean Mallon, Gonzaga -- The junior had a career game with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Jordan Farmar, UCLA -- The sophomore led the second-seeded Bruins with 18 points, including five three-pointers, in a 62-59 win over No. 10 seed Alabama.


Adam Morrison, Gonzaga -- The Bulldogs' star player was held to 14 points. He shot 5-for-17, marking only the sixth time this season he has been held under 20.

Alabama -- Twice in the final minute the seven-man Crimson Tide came within one point.


Mike Davis, resigning Indiana coach -- "I can't explain it. We've been through a lot together. I'm just proud of those guys."
