GWENNY BEVERIDGE, a civil assignment clerk for the State of Maryland, died Monday evening, March 6th, at the age of 70, in Kingsville where she resided with her nephew. Ms. Beveridge was a 13 year breast cancer survivor. She was born Gwenny Campbell to Gwendolyn Phillips and James W. Campbell in Eccleston, Maryland. During her early childhood she and her family moved to Randallstown. Her first job was with Stewart's. Ms Beveridge was a graduate of Milford Mill High and went to study Law and Psychology at University of Baltimore. For a time she worked as a school bus driver and very muched enjoyed the company of the children whom she daily transported. After a time spent teaching driver's education, Gwenny began working at the Towson Court House in Civil Assignment. She worked there for close to twenty years, enjoying many dear friendships over the years. Gwenny was a ray of sunshine to any and all who came into her life. She enjoyed reading as well as listening to music including opera, classical, jazz and country music. She also enjoyed getting together with her many friends at Old Country Buffet, Golden Corral, and Cactus Willie's. She is survived by a brother, James W. Campbell, Jr., of Conroe, Texas; four nieces, Sally Wisniewski, of Sparks, MD, Kate Cocoros of Street, MD, Sheila Gonzales of Harris County, Texas, Shirley Campbell of Katy, Texas; three nephews Andrew Wisniewski, of Kingsville, MD, James W. Campbell III, of Harris County, Texas, John Campbell, of Conroe, Texas and four great-nieces and seven great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Anne Wisniewski. It was Ms. Beveridge's wish that there be no viewing or memorial service of any kind, just that she would be remembered with all of the joy and love of life with which she was blessed during her lifetime.
