Ncaa Tournament

UCLA -- The Bruins gained their 86th all-time win in their 40th NCAA tournament appearance, trailing only Kentucky's 95 and North Carolina's 88.

Adam Morrison, Gonzaga -- The nation's leading scorer had seven of his 35 points in the final two minutes.

Jean Felix, Alabama -- He scored a season-high 31, including five three-pointers in the first 12 1/2 minutes. He was 8-for-11 - all on three-point tries.


Alabama -- The Crimson Tide had lost its previous two games, to Mississippi State in the regular-season finale and Kentucky in SEC tournament first round.

UCLA -- The Bruins missed 10 of their first 15 shots before routing Belmont.


Mark Gottfried, Alabama -- "They were joking in the back of the bus, `The bomb's not going to beat us, Coach.' It throws you off a little bit, but the important thing's to make sure the building is safe."

Jean Felix, Alabama -- "I have four guys with me today who do a good job passing me the ball."
