Dinner fundraiser set for tomorrow

The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer will hold a "Day after St. Patrick's Day" dinner fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow at 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Arundel Habitat for Humanity.

Doors open at 5 p.m.

The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 10, and free for children ages 4 and younger.

Galilee to hold midweek service

Galilee Lutheran Church will host a midweek Lenten service at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesdays through April 5 at 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.

There will be a light luncheon served after the morning service and dinner provided at 5:45 p.m. before the evening service.

Everyone is invited to worship and fellowship.

Lenten exhibit is at Woods Memorial

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present a Lenten exhibit through April 17 in the gallery at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

The exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, by appointment on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Grace Baptist to host series of events

Events planned for Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach, at 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena:

A brotherhood pancake breakfast scheduled for 8 a.m. tomorrow in the fellowship hall. This event will focus on all-male fellowship and is free.

A new member class at 9:30 a.m. running Sunday through April 9 during Sunday school hour in the sanctuary. This four-week class is open to all who are interested in learning about the history of Baptist theology and doctrine.

A spiritual gift workshop at 6 p.m. Sunday and March 26. A mini-concert will take place before the workshop. Information: 410-255-5616

Maranatha Baptist offers Bible classes

There will be a Baptist distinctives course sponsored by Maranatha Baptist Bible college given next week at Anchor Baptist Church, 320 W. Pasadena Road, Millersville. Sessions will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday20 through March 24 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 25.

This course on Bible doctrine and the Baptist faith will be taught by Dr. Larry Oats of the Maranatha Baptist Bible College.

Seder to be held at Kol Ami

The National Council of Jewish Women will hold a Women's Seder at 7:30 p.m. March 27 at Congregation Kol Ami, 1909 Hidden Meadow Lane, Annapolis.

Rabbi Charni Selch will discuss the traditional story of Passover of the exodus from Egypt told through the perspective of the women from the Bible. This will be a celebration of women and their contribution to Jewish history with sampling of traditional Passover meal and song.

The cost is $18 for adults and $10 for children younger than 13. The maximum cost is $30 per family. Reservations are required.

Taize Lenten service on Wednesdays

There will be a Taize Lenten service offered at Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church at 8 p.m. each Wednesday through April 5 at 8424 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton.

This service will provide a tranquil setting for meditation, prayer and song.

Fish fry and raffle at St. Athanasius

The events committee of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church will sponsor a fish fry and raffle from 1 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. March 31 at the rectory, 4708 Prudence St., Brooklyn.

The cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12, and free for children ages 6 and younger. The cost for carryout is $12. Please call to purchase tickets in advance.

Free choir concert at Woods Memorial

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present a concert at 8 p.m. March 31 at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park themed "Make His Praise Glorious."

The concert will feature the Woods Adult choir along with the Calvin choir conducted by Raymond Weidner.

The concert is free, and childcare will be provided.
