JUPITER, Fla. -- In his first start after rejoining the Orioles from the World Baseball Classic, left-hander Bruce Chen held the Florida Marlins hitless until two outs in the fourth inning yesterday, and the bullpen turned in its finest performance in a 5-0 victory.

Rookie Jeremy Hermida singled after Dan Uggla reached on third baseman Desi Relaford's error. Chen retired Wes Helms, and Chris Britton replaced him.
