ESTHER BERNICE LOTTIER, she was born on October 10, 1910 and she departed this life on March 6, 2006, after a lengthy illness from Alzheimer's Disease. Born to Samual Arthur Short and Eva Scott Short. She was raised on Pitcher St. She attened St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. She studied Nursing and was very talented in her piano studies, with a desire to attend Peaboy Institute. She was employed at the Post Office as a clerk during WWII and she had a lengthy career as a Administrative Assistant in the Department of Education. After she retired, she volunteered at BWI Airport with Travelers Aid. She also received Meritorious Salutations for her many services. She is joining all of her friends and many relatives in God's Domain. She was the devoted wife of the late William Irving Lottier, Sr., of 53 years. She is survived by sister Gloria C. Jones, daughter Shirley Lottier Hughes, son William Irving Lottier, Jr., grandchildren Robin Durant, David A. Lottier, Daniel G. Lottier and David J. Hulse, great grandchildren Tyrell Lottier and Brandon Briscoe. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be at St. Peter Claver Church, 1546 N. Fremont Ave., Baltimore on Saturday, April 1 at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Alzheimer's Foundation.
