Man dies of stab wounds

A dispute between two men ended with a stabbing yesterday afternoon on a street in West Baltimore that left one of them mortally wounded, city police reported.

Curtis Lomax, 22, of the 2200 block of Round Road in Baltimore's Cherry Hill community was fighting with the other man about 12:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. when he was stabbed several times with an unknown weapon, police said.

Lomax was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died about three hours later, police said.

Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
