GW drops Mount

Kristin Karcsh and Laura Hostetler combined for five goals and five assists to lead George Washington past visiting Mount St. Mary's, 15-8, yesterday in women's lacrosse.

Casey Paris and Lauren Reymann each scored two goals for the Mount (1-4).

The Colonials improved to 1-2.

Ursinus 14, Washington College 4 -- Ashley Ettinger had three goals and an assist for the Bears(1-0, 1-0), who beat the Shorewomen (2-2, 0-1) in a Centennial Conference game. Washington's top scorer was freshman Suzie Jakub with two goals.
