MRS. KATHLEEN ARTHUR BORGMEIER, age 58, of 304 Old Mill Drive, Carrollton, GA died March 4, 2006 following a heroic battle with lung cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be cremated, as per her request. Mrs. Borgmeier was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 5, 1948 to the late Jeanne Klaus and Paul Arthur. She grew up in Baltimore and spent much of her childhood at the home of her late aunt and uncle, Gerard and Catherine Weber, in Severna Park, Maryland. As an adult, Mrs. Borgmeier and her family lived in Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, California, Washington, and Texas. Mrs. Borgmeier, her husband, and son moved to Carrollton from Houston, Texas in August 2005 to be closer to her daughter and her family following her diagnosis with lung cancer. Survivors include her dedicated husband of 38 years, Robert Borgmeier; daughter Barbara Paul; son, Michael Borgmeier; son-in-law Tim Paul; and granddaughters, Delaney Paul and Cate Paul all of Carrollton; sister Jeanne Kluga, brothers Stewart Arthur, Mark Klaus, Eric Klaus, and John Klaus, all of Baltimore, MD. A memorial service will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on March 18, where Mrs. Borgmeier's ashes will be scattered. A Memorial Service will be held in Houston, Texas at a later date.
