Speaker, musician at Unity by the Bay
Unity by the Bay will have a speaker and musician Sunday at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park.
Jay Sterns will speak on "The Pros and Cons of Healing," and Brent Law will provide music. Services start at 10:30 a.m.
Continuing events include Silent Unity Prayer Time at noon, Monday through Thursday, Meditation from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, and A Course in Miracles from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.

Church schedules Lenten Service
Sunday evening Lenten Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday through April 2 at First Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, Duke of Gloucester and Conduit streets.
The service will be candlelit with scripture, song, sacrament and prayer.
Unity will offer prosperity course
There will be a course on prosperity starting Wednesday at Unity by the Bay, 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park.
The 12-week course meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and will be led by Mahala Connally and Bill Finagin.
The class will be followed by a 12-tape series produced by Stretton Smith.
Registration is required.
Mid-week service scheduled at Galilee
Galilee Lutheran Church will host a mid-week Lenten service at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday through April 5 at 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.
There will be a light luncheon served after the morning service and dinner provided at 5:45 p.m. before the evening service.
Everyone is invited to worship and fellowship during these services.
Prayer breakfast is Wednesday
There will be a prayer breakfast held at Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church hosted by the GFWC Women's Club of Linthicum Heights at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at 200 School Lane, Linthicum.
The Rev. James Kirk will be the guest speaker.
The proceeds from this event will go to three area homeless shelters.
Reservations are required, and the cost is $10.
Outreach group to give presentation
Aglow International Outreach will conduct an outreach meeting from 10 a.m. to midnight March 11 at the Severna Park Youth Center, 617 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd.
Bill Yount, the adviser of Women's Aglow International, will give the presentation.

St. Athanasius dinner is March 12
The events committee of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church will sponsor a buffet dinner from noon until 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 12 at the rectory, 4708 Prudence St., Brooklyn.
The cost is $14 for adults, $5 for ages 7 to 12, and free for children younger than 6. The cost for carryout is $14.

Mother's Day festival in May
St. Andrew's United Methodist Church will hold a Mother's Day garden festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6 at 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater.
There will be an assortment of crafts, live entertainment and children's games.
