Women's `Hall' ceremony March 16

County Executive James N. Robey and the Howard County commission for Women will be hosts of the 10th Women's Hall of Fame ceremony at 7:30 p.m. March 16 in the George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City.

Honorees are Frances Motyca Dawson, founder and director of Columbia Pro Cantare; Roberta Dillow, chairwoman of the Howard Community College board of trustees, who has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations; Leila Lee Hajek, the first female police officer in the Howard County Police Department; dancer, teacher HIV/AIDS activist and journalist Carolyn R. Keleman; and Robin Steele, former vice president of the Howard County NAACP and community activist and mentor.

Williams wins CEO Choice Award

Gary Williams, president of Williams Asset Management of Columbia, has been awarded the CEO Choice Award by Baltimore Smart CEO magazine. He won the award for the quality of his financial services for individuals and families.

The award honored 25 regional financial-advising professionals.
