Nichols, Florence V. "Honey"

FLORENCE VIRGINIA "HONEY" NICHOLS, 95, of Fairport, NY, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at Stella Maris in Timonium. Born Sept. 1, 1910, in Ridgway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hilma Engstrom Newburg. She was the wife of Robert Lee Nichols, Sr. who died in 1958. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Chapel in Westminster. She was formerly employed with her son as a manager of Baskin-Robbins in Parkville, retiring in 1985. She became a resident of Stella Maris in July 1999. She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing the piano, all music, baking and spending time with her family. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Charles David and Peggy Nichols of Westminster and Robert L. Jr. and Mary Nichols of Forest Hill; grandchildren Kim Nichols, Kellie Thuman, Krissy Nichols, Terry Tye, Bonnie Fisher and Robert and Michael Nichols; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Charlotte Ann O'Donnell of Chicago. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor, with the Rev. Ralf Nies, pastor of Grace Fellowship Chapel, officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Jamestown, NY. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
