College Park -- In a loss at Clemson, a pass from D.J. Strawberry intended for sophomore James Gist hit him in the back instead of his hands while Maryland coaches foresaw the turnover and were yelling, "James, JAMES!" from the sideline.

On Wednesday at Florida State, a pass to senior forward Nik Caner-Medley went flying to the fans instead, and left senior guard Sterling Ledbetter asking Caner-Medley why he wasn't in position for it.
