The Full Moon Saloon

Though the Full Moon Saloon's patrons might seem a little gruff and intimidating, they're really easygoing and know volumes about blues history and musicians.

Notable --The stage sits at the far end of the long and narrow saloon. If you get there early enough, grab a cheap bottle of Natty Boh and a seat in one of the booths near the stage.

Vibe --Ratty, smoky and soulful.

What to wear --Dress down and dirty if you don't want to attract much attention.

Crowd --Older, sometimes scraggly blues enthusiasts with beer paunches in tight T-shirts and jeans.

Music --Old Man Brown Blues Band, Red Jones, Junkrod Joe and the Cadillac Hearse, Dave Huber, Detroit Slim Blues Jam, Tony Calato and Yellow #5.
