Wine Find

2005 Chateau Ste. Michelle Gewurztraminer, Columbia Valley ($9)

This Washington state winery has joined a mini trend toward releasing gewurztraminers a few months after fermentation is complete -- when the wine is at its maximum freshness. This white wine is vibrant and spicy -- with nuances of lemon, orange, nutmeg, honey and nuts. With gewurz, there's a lot to be said for the idea of pick it, squish it, kick it out the door. Serve with spicy Asian cuisine, pork.
