ST. LOUIS --The Blast got off to a great start yesterday, but the finish left something to be desired.

The Blast jumped out to a 3-1 lead over St. Louis, but the Steamers came back with a stout second quarter and the Blast couldn't rally in a 9-7 defeat at Savvis Center.
