Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Homicide victim named -- Kwane Walker of the 900 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was named by city police yesterday as the teenager who was shot in the stomach about 2:30 p.m. Friday by an assailant outside a house in the 1600 block of Druid Hill Ave. Walker, 16, died less than an hour later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Metro Crime Stoppers, at 410-276-8888, is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Northeastern

Arrest -- Phillip Reynolds, 26, was arrested Saturday at his home in the first block of Cheviot Court in Woodlawn by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Reynolds is accused of shooting Dominic Pierson, 25, in the 1500 block of Carswell St. on Feb. 4 during an argument.

Southeastern

Robbery -- An 80-year-old woman was putting items into her car in the first block of N. Lakewood Ave. about 4 p.m. Sunday when she was assaulted by three teenage boys who stole her purse containing $100 and property.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a woman who robbed Dunkin Donuts in the 600 block of Dundalk Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 5 a.m. Sunday while implying she was armed with a handgun.

Theft -- A laptop computer, portable digital video disc player, four DVDs, a coat and computer accessories - all valued at nearly $2,200 - were stolen Sunday from a 2001 Volkswagen parked in the 100 block of Albemarle St.

Theft -- Welding equipment valued at nearly $1,400 was stolen Sunday from a 1989 Toyota truck parked in the 700 block of S. Wolfe St.

Southwestern

Thefts -- Two vehicles were broken into over the weekend while parked at the Park & Ride lot in the 1500 block of Cooks Lane. Taken from a 1998 Ford Expedition were 50 compact discs and 50 digital video discs, and stereo equipment was stolen from a 2000 Mercedes-Benz.

Stolen vehicle -- A burgundy four-door 1994 Buick with tags 3AP L50 was stolen over the weekend in the 700 block of Edgewood St.

Baltimore County

Essex

Robbery -- A 55-year-old driver for New Eastern Cab Co. was stopped at Sugarwood Circle and Mansfield Road about 10:30 p.m. Sunday and about to pick up a passenger when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of $30.

Parkville

Arrests -- Two girls, one 13 and the other 16, were arrested about 3 p.m. yesterday after they abandoned a minivan on Belair Road near Double Rock Park. Police said the girls had stolen the vehicle at Harford and Joppa roads. They were charged as juveniles with auto theft and confined at a juvenile facility.
