Loyola upsets Marist

Lauren Troupe and Jill Gless- ner helped host Loyola defeat Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference leader Marist, 62-59, yesterday afternoon.

They combined for 32 points to give the Greyhounds (16-9, 11-5) their first win over the Red Foxes (19-6, 14-2) in the past eight meetings.

Drexel 63, Towson 61 -- Catherine Scanlon's last-second layup lifted the visiting Dragons (12-12, 7-8 Colonial Athletic Association) over the Tigers (8-16, 3-12).

Franklin and Marshall 65, Johns Hopkins 64 -- Dana Johns hit a three-pointer with 30 seconds left to lead the Diplomats (10-15, 7-11 Centennial Conference) over the host Blue Jays (19-6, 15-3).
