Bliss comes in many forms, and one of them is a 70-minute Stress Buster aromatherapy massage at Life Smells Good (935 S. Charles St., Federal Hill, 410-234-0333). Theresa Cangialosi and her staff of certified massage therapists are all well versed in the art of aromatherapy. If you're stressed, they'll use relaxation oils like lavender, rose or chamomile. If you're sore, "muscular" oils like geranium and eucalyptus will be in the mix. The massage itself, of course, will be deeply relaxing. This is a splurge that may quickly become a necessity.

Merritt Athletic Clubs has a new location, one that adds five full-size tennis courts and indoor fields for soccer and lacrosse to the mix of facilities available to Merritt's 25,000 members. What was once Bare Hills Tennis Club is now the Merritt at Bare Hills.

Merritt, which has 11 locations, plans to make the complex into a "total family center," says spokesman Terry Dezzutti. The lobby and locker rooms are being renovated, and the club will have all new fitness equipment and more group fitness classes. The changes will take about two years to complete.
