Hearings of interest:

The House Ways and Means Committee hears testimony at 12:30 p.m. on legislation (HB 585) that would impose limits on campaign contributions by requiring companies that are wholly owned subsidiaries of a parent firm or that are owned by 80 percent of the same individuals report their donations as a single entity.

The Senate Finance Committee considers a bill (SB 655) that would create a citizens' advisory council to assist in a study of the Red Line transit route in Baltimore. The hearing begins at 1 p.m.
